Talc / French Chalk

Talc powder is considered the world’s softest material characterized as hydrophobic (insoluble) and inert. It also possesses thermal and electrical resistance properties.

Talc Powder is an excellent filler due to blending characteristics and thus has a varied application in different industries like cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, paint, paper, textile, ceramics, fertilizer, etc.

NBT Offering: The particle shape and the size distribution of talc products determines their performance. NBT product line includes a variety of milling options (mesh/micron options) sourced and processed through some of the highest-grade talc mines adhering to perpetual quality screening throughout the life of mine. Our particle size grinding techniques include new-age ball-milling tech and pulverizing processes.

More Information

30-1-2 BARYTES Baryte or barite is a moderately soft crystalline mineral form of barium sulphate (BaSO4). Approximately, 80% barytes produced worldwide is used for oil and gas drilling as a weighting agent in the drill mud, primarily to prevent the explosive release of gas and oil during drilling. Its unique physical and chemical properties like heaviness, high specific gravity, chemical and physical inertness, very low solubility and magnetic neutrality. Barium compounds are utilised as filler, extender and aggregate. Baryte after converting to barium carbonate, is used in the manufacture of ceramic and glass. The Mangampet deposit in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh is the single largest barytes deposit in the world.
